While I believe that in a true emergency the government should have the right to use your land, I feel this law has been abused. There are many cases where the courts are granting large companies the right to others property for little reason else than profit. I think everyone should check into this situation and voice their opinion.

Anyway, it was up to us to whip up some dinner. As we didn’t know what our guests would like, we hinted around as to what they wanted. It was then that I wished I had bought a spice rack to see what kind of meal would be best to prepare. There is nothing better than a large selection of choices when it comes to cooking. I had seen some nice kitchen spice racks for sale on the internet and I wish I had them now. They are great kitchen utensils.

The moral of the story is that we now have some wonderful spice racks in our home. The next time we have guests, we will be prepared for them. I wish everything was this easy.

I personally think that the economic news for this country will be better for the rest of this year. I am one of those who think that our country is going to take an economic upturn this year. I hope that we will all do well.

One gift that never seems to go wrong is candy. Everybody knows that chocolates and other delicious treats agree with every girl. Why not send flowers you ask, because you can’t eat them that’s why. One thing she did was to add some window boxes to our home. We planted some small flowers under the windows to make our home more attractive. I think it looks great and I am glad that I have a wife who knows how to dress up a house. She has a special talent for that sort of thing. Whenever I open the door to the garage, he runs out to the cement and flips on his back. He then proceeds to wiggle back and forth and it is a site to see. I guess a good back-scratching is necessary for him from time to time. I hope he enjoys it.

A friend of mine invited us over to his house for dinner. We were running a little late and so night had fallen. It seems like the past couple of years we’ve had a lot of trouble getting the family together for New Year’s. We used to have these big parties when the kids were much younger, but they’ve all been doing their own thing in the recent past. So I planned months ago for us to host a little party at our house and have the kids invite some of their friends. They seemed receptive to it so that’s what we’re doing.
