Whenever you live in a large neighborhood, there are always things that come up with your neighbors. It seems that someone always has something to say about what you are doing. I recently had this type of experience with a neighbor down the street. They took exception to the fact that I was going to have a satellite dish installed in my home. He said that it would be unsightly and bring down the value of his house.
I have been using cable for many years. I had become dissatisfied with the service for a number of reasons. The main reason was because I could not get the channels I wanted. I decided that getting Direct TV by DirectSatTV would be the better choice for me. The only thing was that I would have to have a satellite dish installed. This is when my neighbor tried to claim that it was illegal to do so.
I went on the internet and found a site under the name of government dish rules. The site clearly laid out my right to have a dish installed. Knowing that I was correct, I showed my neighbor the site and he had to admit that I was right. Now that all the controversy was over, I had the dish installed. I now have my Direct TV packages by DirectSatTV that I am very satisfied with. It’s good to know that this is America and that it still stands for something. I can enjoy my TV in my home and feel good about standing up for my rights!
